Money supply in Russia increased in September
According to preliminary data, a growth in the money supply was recorded in Russia in September 2026. This indicator, known to economists as the M2 aggregate, increased by 0.6% compared to the previous month.
In monetary terms, the volume of the money supply reached the 137.5 trillion ruble mark. This statistic was published by the Interfax news agency based on preliminary expert estimates.
The M2 indicator includes cash in circulation, as well as non-cash funds in the accounts of individuals and legal entities. Analysts often view the growth of this aggregate as an important indicator of the state of the economy and the level of liquidity in the country's banking system.
Economists continue to monitor the dynamics of the money supply, as it directly affects financial processes in the state. Current data show a stable trend toward an increase in the volume of funds at the disposal of citizens and businesses.
