“Health Train” to embark on a medical expedition across the districts of Bashkiria
From August 24 to 30, the Republic of Bashkortostan will host the “Health Train” campaign. Special mobile medical units will visit six remote districts of the region to provide residents with access to high-quality diagnostics and consultations with medical specialists.
As part of this program, doctors will conduct comprehensive examinations of the population. Residents will be able to take tests, undergo fluorography, mammography, and electrocardiograms free of charge. The mobile teams will also include general practitioners, cardiologists, ophthalmologists, and other specialized doctors.
The main goal of the project is to make medicine more accessible to people living far from major district centers. Thanks to the “Health Trains,” patients can undergo preventive check-ups and detect potential diseases at an early stage without leaving their own settlements.
Organizers note that to undergo an examination, one must have a passport and a compulsory medical insurance policy. The schedule for the mobile units has already been published on the official resources of the regional Ministry of Health so that residents can plan their doctor visits in advance.
Similar outreach campaigns are regularly held in various regions of Russia. They help reduce the burden on stationary clinics and improve the health levels of citizens living in rural areas.
