New protective gear for firefighters created in Russia
Russian specialists have developed a new generation of combat clothing for firefighters. The main feature of this innovation is improved protection against hazardous combustion products that are released while extinguishing fires.
It is known that inhaling smoke and coming into contact with toxic substances are among the primary factors that increase the risk of developing oncological diseases in rescue workers. The new gear is designed to minimize this negative impact on the human body.
The developers paid special attention to the materials used to make the suit. They not only effectively block the penetration of harmful particles but also maintain the high durability required for working in the extreme conditions of a fire.
It is expected that the introduction of such clothing will help significantly increase the safety level of fire department personnel. Additional testing is planned for the near future, after which the gear may enter mass production for EMERCOM units across the country.
