Yugra becomes one of Russia's leaders in elevator equipment renewal
The Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug — Yugra has entered the top five Russian regions in terms of the rate of replacing old elevators in residential buildings. According to specialized agencies, a significant number of lifting mechanisms were upgraded in the region during the first half of the current year, which has substantially increased the level of safety for local residents.
The elevator replacement program is being implemented as part of the regional capital repair plan. The authorities of Yugra are paying special attention to buildings where the equipment's service life has exceeded 25 years. The modern elevators being installed in high-rise buildings are distinguished not only by their reliability but also by their energy efficiency and low noise levels during operation.
In addition to Yugra, other subjects of the Russian Federation have also joined the leaders in modernization rates. Experts note that active work in this direction helps to avoid emergency situations and makes the urban environment more comfortable for citizens, including people with limited mobility.
The regional operator's plans for the second half of the year include continuing the active replacement of equipment in accordance with the schedule. Residents of buildings where work is being carried out can monitor the progress of the repairs through official housing and utility portals. The renewal of the elevator fleet remains one of the priority areas for the development of housing infrastructure in Russia.
