United Russia to investigate 10th-grade admission rules
The United Russia party has launched an initiative to investigate the situation regarding the admission of students into 10th grade. Recently, there has been an increase in cases across various regions of the country where students are being unjustifiably denied the opportunity to continue their education in high school.
According to party representatives, many parents are complaining about strict restrictions. Schools often refuse to admit children into the 10th grade, citing low grades or the results of internal exams. However, under Russian law, every child has the right to receive a secondary general education.
Party officials emphasized that such actions by school administrations often violate students' rights. A detailed analysis of the situation is planned in the near future to determine the legality of these requirements imposed by educational institutions.
United Russia stated that access to specialized education must be transparent and fair. The goal of the investigation is to eliminate unjustified rejections and ensure that everyone who wishes to continue their studies after completing the 9th grade is able to do so.
It is expected that recommendations for regional ministries of education will be issued based on the results of the monitoring. This will help make the enrollment process for high school more understandable for students and their parents across the country.
