Kyrylo Budanov: drone attacks will continue until mid-September
The head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, has issued a statement regarding the Russian military's plans for the use of unmanned aerial vehicles. According to him, the intensity of attacks using "Shahed"-type drones will remain high in the near future.
According to Ukrainian intelligence forecasts, such actions will continue at least until September 18–20. Budanov noted that this tactic is aimed at maintaining constant pressure on Ukraine's infrastructure and military facilities ahead of important political events.
Experts link the activity of Russian forces to their current combat strategy. The use of drones has become one of the primary methods allowing for regular operations over significant distances.
