Major fires at Wildberries warehouses: consequences of UAV attacks
Large-scale fires have occurred at warehouse complexes of the major marketplace Wildberries in several Russian regions. The incidents were caused by unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attacks, which led to serious damage to the company's infrastructure.
According to preliminary data, at least eight people have died as a result of the incidents. Emergency services continue to work at the scenes, extinguishing the fire and clearing the rubble. The exact number of casualties is currently being verified by official authorities.
Representatives of Wildberries stated that they are doing everything possible to minimize the consequences for sellers and buyers. At present, the operations of the affected logistics centers have been suspended, and goods that were in storage may have been damaged or destroyed by the fire.
This situation has caused serious concern among entrepreneurs who use the platform to conduct business. Many sellers fear delivery delays and potential financial losses due to the destruction of inventory.
Authorities in the regions where the attacks took place have strengthened security measures at critical infrastructure facilities. An investigation into the circumstances of the incident is ongoing, and experts are assessing the scale of the damage caused.
