Ukraine's Ministry of Defense announces plans to attack Ozon logistics centers in Russia
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has issued a statement regarding plans to strike warehouse facilities belonging to the company Ozon on Russian territory. This announcement appeared in the information space on August 22.
The reason for such statements stems from recent attacks on the logistics infrastructure of another major marketplace, Wildberries. According to the ministry's information, 15 of that company's largest distribution centers were previously struck.
Representatives of the Ukrainian ministry noted that it is now "the turn" of Ozon's facilities. Such actions are aimed at disrupting the logistics chains that support the operations of major trading platforms in the country.
At this moment, official representatives of Russian companies and government agencies have not provided detailed comments regarding the security of specific warehouse complexes. The situation remains a subject of discussion in the media against the backdrop of the ongoing armed conflict.
The issue of the security of civilian infrastructure and the operations of major online retailers remains a pressing concern for many residents of Russia who regularly use the services of marketplaces to make purchases.
