Russia and China agree to establish an international organization for AI development
Russia, China, and a number of other states have officially announced the creation of the World Artificial Intelligence Cooperation Organization. The signing of the corresponding agreement took place in Shanghai, where representatives of the participating countries discussed the prospects for the development of new technologies.
The main goal of the new organization is to unite the efforts of different countries for the safe and effective implementation of artificial intelligence. The signatories plan to exchange experience, conduct joint research, and develop common rules for the use of modern digital systems.
For Russia, this cooperation opens up new opportunities in the field of high technology. In the context of global competition, interaction with partners helps to develop domestic scientific research and introduce innovations into various sectors of the economy, from industry to medicine.
Experts note that the creation of such an organization is an important step for the international community. In the future, the new structure could become a key platform for dialogue between states on issues of artificial intelligence regulation and the prevention of potential risks associated with its use.
At the moment, the parties are continuing to work on the organization's structure and an action plan for the coming years. It is expected that other countries interested in developing technologies based on the principles of mutual trust and openness will be able to join the initiative in the future.
