Russian developers create an alternative to foreign chip analysis equipment
Positive Technologies has unveiled the first laser system in Russia designed for microchip research. Previously, domestic enterprises were entirely dependent on imported technologies, but access to such equipment has become extremely limited due to sanctions.
The new development allows specialists to conduct detailed analysis of semiconductors and identify vulnerabilities in their architecture. This is a critically important stage for ensuring information security, as it helps protect electronic devices from hidden threats and hardware backdoors.
Creating proprietary equipment was a response to the technological restrictions faced by Russian industry. Until now, Russian companies were forced to seek alternative ways to test components, which slowed down the development and quality control processes for microelectronics.
Experts note that the emergence of such domestic solutions is an important step toward the country's technological sovereignty. In the context of global digitalization, control over the production and security of chips is becoming a priority task for the state and business.
In the future, the company plans to scale production and integrate the system into the operations of Russia's largest microelectronics centers. It is expected that this will not only help replace foreign analogs but also increase the level of protection for Russia's critical infrastructure.
