Over 70,000 bottles of beverages from Armenia withdrawn from sale in Russia

Russian regulatory authorities have imposed a temporary ban on the sale of a number of popular beverages produced in Armenia. The restrictions affect more than 70,000 bottles of products that were already in warehouses and on store shelves.

The list of prohibited goods includes BJNI brand mineral water, Prosto Azbuka drinking water, and the Mojito carbonated drink from the DARBAS brand. These items were withdrawn from circulation as part of measures to ensure the quality and safety of food products for Russian consumers.

Customers will no longer be able to purchase these beverages in large retail chains or small convenience stores. Agency representatives explain that such measures are necessary to verify that the products comply with the sanitary norms and quality standards established in Russia.

At the moment, experts are conducting additional laboratory tests on the seized batches. Information regarding when the sale of these beverages might resume will be announced after all necessary inspections are completed. Consumers are advised to pay attention to product labeling when making purchases.
