Delivery robots assist doctors in Moscow hospitals
The first phase of testing for specialized delivery robots has successfully concluded in Moscow hospitals. The project, launched in March of this year, aims to ease the daily workload of medical staff and accelerate internal processes within medical institutions.
Currently, six autonomous machines are involved in the pilot project. The robots perform routine tasks: they transport medicines, medical supplies, and documents between departments. Thanks to this, doctors and nurses can devote more time directly to patient care without being distracted by the transportation of goods.
The results of the experiment have been impressive. Over several months of operation, the robots have saved hospital staff nearly 3,000 working hours. This allows personnel to work more efficiently and reduces the physical burden on those performing auxiliary tasks.
Technologies continue to be integrated into the capital's healthcare system. Moscow authorities plan to evaluate the project's effectiveness and consider the possibility of expanding the use of such robots in other city hospitals in the near future.
