Russia's first self-regulatory organization for the digital rights market has been established
The National Association of Securities Market Participants (NAUFOR) has received the status of the first self-regulatory organization (SRO) for information system operators. This is a significant event for Russia's financial sector, marking a new stage in the development of digital assets.
The main task of the new organization is to oversee the operations of companies that issue digital financial assets (DFAs). The SRO will ensure that operators comply with market rules, protect the interests of investors, and operate in accordance with Russian legislation.
The creation of such a structure makes the digital rights market more transparent and secure. Now, companies working with digital assets will be required to follow unified standards. This will help increase the confidence of businesses and private investors in new financial instruments.
Experts note that the emergence of an SRO is a necessary step for the development of the digital economy in the country. Regulation will help avoid risks and create clear rules of the game for all market participants, which in the future may lead to an increase in the popularity of digital rights among Russians.
