Air ambulance in the Tver region: saving a patient with a helicopter
A successful emergency patient transport operation took place in the Tver region. A woman who was at the Regional Clinical Hospital (OKB) required urgent medical assistance that could only be provided at another specialized facility.
It was decided to use air ambulance services to transport the patient. A Mi-8 helicopter crew, along with a professional ambulance team, promptly arrived at the scene. Using aviation made it possible to significantly reduce travel time, which is critical for saving lives in emergency situations.
The helicopter successfully transported the patient from Tver to Andreapol. During the flight, the woman was accompanied by doctors who monitored her condition and provided the necessary support. Thanks to the coordinated actions of the pilots and medical staff, the transport was completed without incident.
