In Naryan-Mar, fuel cards are being offered for reproductive health screenings
The authorities of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug have launched an unusual campaign for local residents. In the city of Naryan-Mar, citizens are being offered fuel vouchers worth 1,000 rubles in exchange for undergoing a reproductive health medical examination.
This initiative is aimed at drawing public attention to issues of family planning and general health. Participants in the campaign can visit doctors and undergo the necessary consultations as part of a routine check-up, after which they are issued a voucher for the purchase of gasoline.
Such measures highlight the regional authorities' desire to encourage citizens to take a more responsible approach to their health. The organizers hope that the financial incentive will help increase the number of people undergoing regular medical check-ups.
At the moment, the campaign is only active within the territory of Naryan-Mar. There has been no information yet on whether such a practice will be extended to other regions of Russia.
