MTS and Magnit partner with HSE to train artificial intelligence experts
Leading Russian companies MTS and MAGNIT TECH have become the new industrial partners of the HSE Faculty of Computer Science. The collaboration is part of the state project "Top-AI," which is overseen by the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of Russia.
The main goal of this project is to train highly qualified specialists in the field of artificial intelligence. Students of the faculty will study modern machine learning methods, work with large language models (LLM), and computer vision technologies. The curriculum is designed to ensure that graduates can not only conduct scientific research but also apply their knowledge in real-world business.
The participation of large technology companies will allow students to work on current challenges that businesses face every day. Partners will provide access to their data and infrastructure, which will help future experts gain practical experience while still studying at the university.
This initiative highlights the importance of interaction between the academic environment and Russian business. It is expected that this joint effort will help accelerate the adoption of innovative technologies in the country's economy and prepare personnel capable of solving complex tasks in the sphere of digitalization.
