Russia expects continued cooperation with Armenia within the EAEU
Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Government Alexei Overchuk has made an official statement regarding the future of economic interaction with Armenia. According to him, the Russian side expects Yerevan to continue its constructive work within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
The Eurasian Economic Union is an important platform for the integration of post-Soviet countries. Participation in this organization allows member states to develop free trade, simplify customs procedures, and strengthen economic ties with one another.
For Russia, Armenia remains an important trading partner. Interaction within the EAEU contributes to the growth of trade turnover and the implementation of joint investment projects. The stable operation of the union helps member countries respond more effectively to modern economic challenges.
At the moment, official Yerevan has not announced any plans to withdraw from the organization. Experts note that the continuation of dialogue between the countries is a key condition for maintaining stability in the regional market.
The issue of Armenia's further participation in integration processes remains relevant for all EAEU member states. It is expected that the parties will continue to discuss operational matters during upcoming meetings at the government level.
