Armenian authorities warn of consequences for participants in "paid" protests
The Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs has issued an important statement for citizens who have arrived in the country from Russia. The country's authorities have warned that they will closely monitor the participation of newcomers in political actions and protests. Particular attention is being paid to those who take part in rallies in exchange for monetary compensation.
According to an official statement, law enforcement agencies have received information about attempts to involve citizens in political processes through bribery. The authorities emphasized that such actions are a violation of the law and destabilize public order in the country.
As a measure of influence, the Armenian government has threatened to send those seen participating in "paid" protests to military training camps. According to representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, such a practice will help prevent foreign interference in the internal affairs of the state and ensure compliance with local laws.
At the moment, the situation remains under police control. The authorities are calling on all foreign citizens residing in Armenia to comply with the country's legislation and refrain from participating in questionable political events to avoid legal problems and potential deportation.
