Significant increase in cardiologist visits observed in Russia
Recently, Russian medical institutions have recorded a noticeable increase in the number of visits to cardiologists. Specialists note that patients have begun seeking help more frequently to check the condition of their cardiovascular system and to receive consultations regarding heart health.
The most significant increase in the number of visits was recorded among citizens aged 35 to 44—this figure rose by 31%. Doctors attribute this trend to the increased attention middle-aged people are paying to their health and their desire to prevent potential diseases at early stages.
Among elderly people over 60, there is also an increase in cardiologist visits, which amounted to 21%. This group of patients is traditionally under special medical supervision, as age-related changes require regular monitoring of blood pressure and heart function.
Medics remind the public that timely diagnosis is a key factor in the prevention of serious cardiac pathologies. Doctors recommend that Russians not ignore alarming symptoms and undergo routine check-ups to keep heart health in check and reduce the risk of developing chronic diseases.
