5G networks in Russia could become available nationwide by 2027
Russian mobile users could gain access to 5G technology across the entire country in just a few years. According to expert forecasts, the full-scale implementation of next-generation networks is expected by 2027.
This information was shared by Denis Kuskov, CEO of the information and analytical agency TelecomDaily. According to him, the development of communication infrastructure is an important step for the digitalization of the economy and for improving the quality of internet services for citizens.
5G technology provides significantly higher data transfer speeds and lower signal latency compared to modern 4G networks. This will allow users to download large files faster, watch high-resolution videos without buffering, and use online services more comfortably.
At the moment, work is underway in Russia to create the necessary equipment and prepare frequencies for the launch of the new networks. It is expected that the transition to this communication standard will make mobile internet more stable and efficient for millions of subscribers across the country.
