Ministry of Economic Development presents Russia's economic growth forecast until 2029
The Russian Ministry of Economic Development has published a new forecast for the country's socio-economic development. According to the data presented, the Russian economy will continue to grow in the coming years, although the pace of this growth will vary depending on external and internal conditions.
According to the ministry's report, gross domestic product (GDP) growth in 2026 will be 0.6%. In subsequent years, experts expect a gradual acceleration in economic activity: growth is projected to reach 1.4% in 2027, 1.9% in 2028, and could reach 2.4% by 2029.
At the same time, ministry specialists note an important feature: investment growth in the country could slow down significantly by 2027. Investments are a key driver of the economy, so their dynamics directly affect industrial development and the creation of new jobs.
Analysts emphasize that these forecasts remain preliminary and depend on a multitude of factors, including the global economic environment and domestic financial policy. The government continues to monitor the situation to maintain economic stability in the long term.
