Success of Norilsk athletes at the international karate tournament in Sochi
From July 20 to 27, 2026, a major international karate tournament called RUSSIA OPEN 3.0 took place in Sochi at the Sirius federal territory. The competition brought together the strongest athletes from various regions, including representatives from Norilsk.
In addition to the competitions themselves, the organizers prepared a special sports camp for the participants. This allowed the karatekas not only to test their strength on the tatami but also to undergo intensive training under the guidance of experienced coaches, as well as to exchange experience with colleagues from other cities and countries.
Norilsk athletes showed excellent results and were able to win medals at the tournament. A successful performance at a competition of such a high level became an important achievement both for the athletes themselves and for the entire sports community of Norilsk.
Participation in such international events helps young athletes develop their skills and strive for new victories. The trip to Sirius became a valuable experience for the Norilsk team, which will help them in future sports seasons.
