Russia plans to increase investment in the production of unmanned aerial vehicles
Next year, Russia plans to significantly increase spending on the development of its defense industry, with a particular focus on the production of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, approximately 12 billion dollars may be earmarked for these purposes in the Russian budget.
The development of drone technology is becoming one of the key focus areas for many countries around the world. In recent years, Russia has been actively establishing new production facilities and research centers dedicated to the development of both military and civilian drone models.
Experts note that drones are playing an increasingly important role in the modern economy and logistics. Investments in this industry are aimed at creating domestic components, software, and training qualified specialists capable of operating complex systems.
Increased funding will allow for the expansion of production scales and accelerate the integration of innovations into mass-produced models.
