Delivery robots assist doctors in Moscow hospitals
The first stage of a pilot project involving the use of delivery robots has been successfully completed in Moscow medical institutions. Since March of this year, six automated devices have begun operating in city hospitals, assisting medical staff with their daily tasks.
The main goal of introducing the robots is to take over the routine work of moving various goods within the buildings. The devices handle the delivery of documents, test samples, medications, and supplies between departments and laboratories. This allows doctors and nurses to spend less time moving through hallways and focus on treating patients.
The results of the project have been quite impressive. Over several months of operation, the robots have saved medical staff nearly 3,000 hours of working time. Thanks to the automation of these processes, hospital employees can devote more attention to patient care, which has a positive impact on the quality of medical services.
The use of modern technology in healthcare is becoming an important trend in Russia. Moscow's successful experience demonstrates that robotics can effectively complement human work, making the healthcare system faster and more convenient for all participants in the process.
