Turkmenistan and Russia plan to open a joint university
Turkmenistan and Russia continue to work actively on the creation of a new joint educational project — the Turkmen-Russian University. This project is aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and expanding opportunities for obtaining high-quality higher education.
The Russian side expressed gratitude to the leadership of Turkmenistan for their support of the Russian language in the country. The development of humanitarian cooperation is one of the priority areas for both states, which is confirmed by regular meetings between representatives of the ministries of education.
The creation of the university will allow students from Turkmenistan to study according to Russian standards without leaving their country. It is expected that the educational institution will become an important center for training qualified specialists for various sectors of the economy, and will also help strengthen cultural ties between the peoples.
At the moment, the parties continue to discuss the details of the project's implementation, including curricula and the infrastructure of the future campus. This step underscores the commitment of both countries to a long-term partnership in the field of science and education.
