Russian military strikes port infrastructure in Odessa region
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported a series of strikes on military and infrastructure facilities in the Odessa region. The primary targets were the port cities of Odessa and Izmail, which play an important role in the region's logistics.
During the operation in Odessa, the patrol boat "Tarantul," belonging to the Ukrainian Naval Forces, was destroyed. In addition, the Russian military struck fuel storage tanks used for the army's needs.
In the city of Izmail, the target of the attack was a berthing terminal. According to Russian sources, the strikes damaged hangars housing Western military equipment, as well as warehouses containing ammunition and gear.
These actions are part of an ongoing strategy to restrict maritime transport in the region. Official representatives of both sides have not yet provided detailed information regarding casualties resulting from these events.
