Russian Foreign Ministry comments on the situation regarding Ukraine's airspace notifications
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation has issued an official statement regarding recent actions taken by the Ukrainian side. The ministry reported that Moscow does not accept or consider notifications received from Ukrainian authorities concerning the use of Russian airspace.
According to the Foreign Ministry, such messages have no legal force and do not comply with established international procedures. Russian diplomats emphasized that control over the country's airspace is exercised exclusively by relevant Russian services in accordance with national legislation and flight safety standards.
Experts note that this issue has become part of a broader set of diplomatic and legal disputes between the two countries. The situation in the skies over Russia remains stable, and all civil aviation flights are operating normally under the strict control of Russian air traffic control centers.
The ministry also added that any attempts by the Ukrainian side to influence air traffic regulation in Russian skies are unlawful. Russia continues to ensure the complete safety of all aviation routes within its territory, despite external political statements.
At this time, officials have not reported any additional measures in connection with this incident. Russian aviation authorities continue to operate on a normal schedule, ensuring compliance with all international safety standards for passenger and cargo transportation.
