Delivery robots assist doctors in Moscow hospitals
The first phase of testing special delivery robots has been successfully completed in Moscow hospitals. The project, launched in March of this year, aims to lighten the workload of medical staff and allow doctors to dedicate more time to their patients.
Currently, six robots are operating in the capital's medical facilities. Their primary task is to transport medicines, lab samples, and supplies between departments. Thanks to the automation of these processes, hospital staff no longer need to spend time navigating long corridors with heavy loads.
The results of the pilot project have been impressive. According to official data, the use of robots has saved nearly 3,000 working hours for medical personnel. Doctors and nurses were able to spend this time providing direct care to patients and performing more complex professional tasks.
Technologies continue to be actively integrated into Moscow's healthcare system. The experience of using assistant robots shows that automating routine processes makes hospital operations more efficient and comfortable for both staff and patients.
