Russia plans to increase production of jet drones in 2025
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has reported on Russia's plans to significantly increase spending on the production of unmanned aerial vehicles next year. According to the statement, the Russian side intends to allocate approximately 12 billion dollars for these purposes.
According to Zelenskyy, the main focus will be on creating new jet drones. These vehicles are distinguished by their high speed and technical specifications, which makes them difficult targets for air defense systems.
Currently, the interception efficiency for such aerial targets is estimated at approximately 55%. This means that nearly half of the launched drones reach their targets or pose a serious threat to infrastructure facilities.
Increased funding for the defense sector indicates that the use of drones remains one of the key areas in the ongoing conflict. Military experts note that technological development in this sphere is occurring very rapidly on both sides.
The situation remains tense, and the effectiveness of defense systems is becoming a critically important factor for regional security. Future developments will depend on the ability of both sides to improve their defense and offensive technologies.
