The fight against wildfires in the Orenburg region continues
In the Orenburg region, EMERCOM of Russia personnel continue to extinguish large landscape fires. Due to the dry and hot weather, the risk of grass and forest fires in the region remains very high. Rescuers are working in an enhanced mode to prevent the fire from spreading to residential buildings and critical infrastructure.
The main difficulty in extinguishing the fires lies in the strong wind, which quickly spreads the flames over long distances. Not only fire crews but also special equipment, including aircraft, are involved in eliminating the fire centers. EMERCOM specialists are monitoring the situation around the clock with the help of ground teams and unmanned aerial vehicles.
Local authorities are urging residents of the region to strictly observe fire safety rules. A special fire safety regime is in effect in the region, which prohibits lighting bonfires and burning dry grass and waste in open areas. Violation of these rules can lead to serious administrative fines and dangerous consequences for the environment.
The situation in the Orenburg region remains under the control of emergency services. EMERCOM of Russia asks citizens to remain vigilant and immediately report any signs of fire by calling emergency services. Thanks to the coordinated work of the rescuers, the threat to settlements is gradually decreasing, however, the fight against the elements continues until all fire centers are completely extinguished.
