World Health Organization reports destruction of humanitarian aid warehouses in Ukraine
The World Health Organization (WHO) has issued an official statement regarding recent events in the Kyiv region. According to the organization, one of the key warehouses storing humanitarian medical supplies was completely destroyed by an airstrike on September 3.
WHO representatives expressed deep concern regarding this incident. The organization emphasized that such facilities are intended exclusively for the storage of medicines and equipment necessary for providing aid to the civilian population. The loss of these supplies significantly complicates the work of medical personnel in the region.
This incident is part of a series of attacks on healthcare facilities that have been recorded recently. The WHO notes that the number of such incidents continues to rise, which threatens people's access to vital medical services and pharmaceutical products.
At the moment, the international organization continues to assess the damage caused to the infrastructure. The situation remains tense, as providing the population with necessary medicines in the midst of the ongoing conflict is one of the primary tasks of humanitarian missions.
