A New Joint University with Russia to Be Established in Turkmenistan
Turkmenistan continues to work on an important educational project. The country plans to open a new Turkmen-Russian University. This project is being discussed at the state level and will be an important step in strengthening relations between the two countries.
The creation of such an educational institution will help students from Turkmenistan receive an education based on Russian standards. It will also strengthen cultural and scientific ties. It is expected that specialists from Russia and Turkmenistan will teach at the new university, exchanging experience and knowledge.
For Russia, this project is of great importance as it expands the presence of Russian education in Central Asia. Many Russian universities are already successfully cooperating with colleagues from Turkmenistan, but the creation of a separate joint university takes this partnership to a new level.
Currently, the authorities of Turkmenistan are handling legal and technical issues. It is necessary to prepare curricula and decide exactly where the campus will be located. The work is being carried out in accordance with the agreements that the leaders of the countries signed earlier.
The opening of the university will create new opportunities for the region's youth. Students will be able to study in Russian and receive diplomas that will be recognized in both countries. This will help train professional personnel for the development of the economy and science.
