Coal mine explosion in China: dozens dead
A serious industrial accident has occurred in northern China. A powerful explosion rocked a coal mine in Shanxi Province. According to preliminary data, dozens of people were killed as a result of this incident.
The tragedy took place in Qinyuan County. This region is known for its large mining enterprises. At the moment of the explosion, many workers were underground, which led to a high number of casualties and injuries.
Immediately after receiving the distress signal, rescue services arrived at the scene. Doctors and firefighters are working in an intensified mode to find people who may remain under the rubble. Local authorities are coordinating the rescue and medical assistance operation.
China is the world leader in coal production, and the country's government has been actively working to improve industrial safety in recent years. However, despite new regulations and strict inspections, mine accidents still occur due to technical malfunctions or violations of safety standards.
A special commission has currently been established to investigate the causes of the explosion. Authorities promise to conduct a thorough investigation and provide the necessary support to the families of the victims. The situation is under the strict control of the Shanxi provincial leadership.
