Russia and the Central African Republic strengthen cooperation
Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a directive on the preparation of a new agreement with the Central African Republic (CAR). The document is aimed at developing relations between the two countries and creating a legal framework for further interaction in various spheres.
According to the official directive, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been instructed to hold negotiations with representatives of the CAR. Once discussions are concluded, the parties plan to sign an agreement that will serve as the basis for a future partnership. The draft document has already undergone preliminary approval by the Russian government.
Cooperation between Moscow and Bangui has been actively developing in recent years. Russia provides support to the CAR in matters of security, the training of local personnel, as well as in humanitarian and economic fields. The new agreement is intended to elevate these ties to a higher and more systematic level.
Experts note that strengthening relations with African states is an important part of Russia's foreign policy. For the CAR, the partnership with Moscow opens up new opportunities for stabilizing the situation in the country and developing infrastructure.
It is expected that the signing of the document will take place in the near future, following the completion of all necessary diplomatic procedures. This event underscores Russia's desire to expand its presence and influence on the African continent.
