Fuel cards offered in Naryan-Mar for reproductive health check-ups
The authorities of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug have launched an unusual campaign for local residents. In the city of Naryan-Mar, citizens are being offered fuel vouchers worth 1,000 rubles in exchange for undergoing a medical examination with a reproductive specialist.
This initiative is aimed at increasing public awareness regarding the state of their reproductive health. Doctors are conducting comprehensive examinations, which help identify potential issues at an early stage and allow patients to receive necessary recommendations from specialists.
Such measures in Russian regions are often linked to state policy on supporting demographics. The authorities are striving to encourage citizens to pay closer attention to their health by using additional material incentives as motivation.
At the moment, the campaign is only active in Naryan-Mar. Local residents can visit the city's medical facilities to undergo an examination and receive a certificate for the purchase of fuel. It is expected that such a program will help attract more people to regular preventative doctor visits.
