Vladimir Putin: The fuel price situation in Russia is stabilizing
Russian President Vladimir Putin has commented on the current situation in the domestic fuel and lubricants market. According to the head of state, the problems with shortages and rising fuel prices that have been observed in recent months are gradually being resolved thanks to the measures taken by the government.
The country's authorities have introduced a number of restrictions, including a temporary ban on the export of gasoline and diesel fuel abroad. These actions were aimed at saturating the domestic market and halting the sharp increase in fuel costs at gas stations. The government continues to monitor fuel supplies to the regions, paying special attention to the agricultural sector during the harvest campaign.
Experts note that the decisions taken have already yielded the first results. Wholesale fuel prices on the exchange have begun to decline, which should lead to the stabilization of retail prices in the near future. Nevertheless, the government plans to continue monitoring the situation to prevent a recurrence of shortages in the future.
Despite the positive shifts, the issue of fuel supply remains a priority for the country's economy. The authorities emphasize that they will maintain a balance between the interests of producers and consumers in order to ensure the stable operation of the transport system and agriculture throughout Russia.
