Russia plans to modernize navigation system for drones and aerial bombs

Russian specialists are working on creating a new navigation system called "Ariadna." According to expert Sergey Beskrestnov, this technology is intended to make Shahed-type unmanned aerial vehicles and guided aerial bombs (KAB) more resistant to the effects of electronic warfare (EW) systems.

The main task of the new system is to ensure high precision of strikes at a distance of up to 100 kilometers. In current conflict conditions, EW systems often interfere with the operation of standard navigation, so upgrading equipment is becoming an important step for increasing the effectiveness of military hardware.

The development of "Ariadna" is aimed at enabling drones and aerial bombs to successfully reach their designated targets, even if the enemy uses active jamming. This will allow Russian forces to maintain accuracy while carrying out missions deep within Ukrainian territory.

At the moment, experts continue to monitor the development of this technology. The implementation of such navigation systems could significantly change the tactics of using drones and aviation in the combat zone in the near future.
