Hotline for influenza and ARVI prevention begins operation in Tambov Region
In the Tambov Region, the regional office of Rospotrebnadzor has opened a special hotline for residents. The goal of this initiative is to help citizens obtain up-to-date information on the prevention of seasonal viral diseases, such as influenza and ARVI.
Specialists from the agency are ready to answer questions from residents of the region by calling 8(4752)47-30-13. By calling this number, Tambov residents can learn about protective measures against infections, vaccination rules, and what to do at the first signs of illness.
The hotline operates on weekdays. Calls are accepted from Monday to Friday starting at 9:00 a.m. At other times, residents can make use of the official recommendations published on the agency's website.
Such measures are taken annually during periods of increased morbidity in order to reduce the burden on medical institutions and help people take necessary precautions in a timely manner. Authorities urge residents of the region not to self-medicate and to consult doctors if their health deteriorates.
