The European Union increases military aid to Ukraine
The European Union has decided to allocate significant financial resources to support Ukraine. The total amount of the new aid will exceed 6 billion euros. These funds will be directed toward the purchase of modern weaponry and the strengthening of the country's defense capabilities.
In addition to financial support, a so-called "coalition of the willing" is being formed among partner countries. Members of this group have promised to provide additional air defense systems. This decision is aimed at protecting critical infrastructure and military facilities.
As part of the new strategy, the supply of modern missiles and radar stations is being discussed. Western countries are also considering the possibility of sending a military contingent to train Ukrainian specialists in operating the new equipment. These measures are intended to strengthen Ukraine's position in the ongoing conflict.
Russian authorities have repeatedly stated that such actions by Western countries only prolong the hostilities and increase the risk of direct confrontation. Moscow continues to monitor the development of the situation, emphasizing that the supply of any foreign weaponry will not change the ultimate goals of the special military operation.
