Massive drone attack on Moscow and the region: consequences and the situation in the area
Over the past night, Moscow and the Moscow region were subjected to one of the most large-scale drone attacks. According to official sources, air defense systems operated in an enhanced mode, destroying dozens of drones heading toward the capital region.
As a result of falling drone debris, fires broke out in several districts of the region. The most serious incident occurred at an oil refinery, where a fire started due to a drone strike. Emergency services promptly arrived at the scene to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading.
Unfortunately, the attack resulted in casualties. According to the latest data, three people died as a result of the incidents. Several other residents sustained injuries of varying severity and were taken to medical facilities, where they are receiving the necessary care.
Regional authorities are urging citizens to remain calm and follow the instructions of emergency services. Specialists are currently assessing the damage caused to residential buildings and industrial facilities. Operations at Moscow's airports, which were temporarily restricted for safety reasons, are gradually returning to their regular schedules.
