This phenomenon is becoming increasingly noticeable as technology evolves and people begin to trust algorithms with their thoughts. For many, a neural network becomes a convenient interlocutor who is available at any time of the day and is always ready to "listen."
Why do people choose secrecy? Experts believe that the reasons may be different. Some users discuss personal problems with AI that are difficult for them to share with a real person. Others use neural networks to search for relationship advice or even to write romantic texts, which can cause jealousy or misunderstanding on the part of the partner.
For many users, communicating with artificial intelligence is a kind of "personal space." In today's digital world, the boundaries of privacy are constantly changing. If people used to keep paper diaries in the past, today their place is often taken by chatbots. The ability to get a quick answer without criticism or judgment makes AI an attractive tool for self-expression.
