Alexander Novak discussed the situation in the Russian fuel market
Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Alexander Novak held a meeting dedicated to the current situation in the domestic fuel market. The meeting was aimed at analyzing the stability of gasoline and diesel fuel supplies for Russian consumers and agricultural producers.
Issues regarding the production of petroleum products at Russian refineries were discussed at the meeting. The authorities emphasized the importance of maintaining sufficient fuel stock levels to avoid shortages in the country's regions. Special attention was paid to the uninterrupted operation of logistics chains and the delivery of fuel to remote subjects of the Russian Federation.
Representatives of relevant agencies also examined the dynamics of wholesale and retail prices. The government continues to monitor the situation to prevent sharp spikes in fuel costs for the public and businesses. Instructions were given to prioritize the monitoring of product shipment volumes to the domestic market.
Following the meeting, Alexander Novak instructed ministries and manufacturing companies to ensure the stable operation of refineries during periods of high demand. The situation remains under government control, and all necessary measures to ensure the country's energy security will be continued.
