Russian Sports Minister Mikhail Degtyarev celebrates 45th birthday
Today, July 10, Mikhail Degtyarev celebrates his 45th birthday. Currently, he holds two important state positions: he is the Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation and the President of the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC). This event has attracted the attention of many sports organizations and officials in the country.
Mikhail Degtyarev began his active political career many years ago. Prior to his appointment as minister, he served as the Governor of the Khabarovsk Territory. His experience leading a large region helped him secure a new high-ranking government position in May 2024. Later, he also took charge of the Olympic Committee to make the management of Russian sports more efficient.
Degtyarev's work in these positions is of great importance for the future of Russian athletes. Currently, Russian sports face serious challenges on the international stage. The Minister is involved in the development of grassroots sports within the country, the construction of new stadiums, and the support of young talents. He is also working to ensure that Russian athletes can return to participating in major world tournaments.
The sports community is actively congratulating the birthday celebrant. CSKA Football Club was one of the first to publish its wishes. Club representatives wished Mikhail Vladimirovich happiness, family well-being, and new achievements in his work.
