Success of stabilization efforts in Hadhramaut boosts visitor turnout for the 'Al-Balda' tourism festival
The Hadhramaut Governorate in Yemen has witnessed the launch of the 'Al-Balda' tourism festival, amidst a large turnout of citizens and visitors. This festival is considered one of the most prominent annual heritage events that receives wide attention in the region, as it combines folk traditions with recreational activities that reflect the culture of the local community.
The success of organizing this tourist season is a result of the significant efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in supporting the stabilization of security conditions in the Hadhramaut Governorate. This stability has contributed to creating the appropriate atmosphere for holding public events, which encouraged the local population to participate extensively in the celebrations.
Local officials, including Deputy Al-Jailani, confirmed that the 'Al-Balda' festival represents an important annual occasion for stimulating tourism in Yemen. They pointed out that the improvement in security conditions was a key factor in the success of this year's season, which enhances opportunities to attract more visitors to enjoy the diverse heritage activities.
These events are considered a positive step towards restoring normal life in the governorate and support local development efforts by highlighting the rich cultural heritage of Hadhramaut. The festival continues to present its programs amidst wide popular acclaim, reflecting the tangible impact of stability in enhancing social and economic activities in the region.
