Saudi Arabia supports Yemen's electricity sector with 300 megawatts
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has provided new support to the services and infrastructure sector in Yemen by supplying 300 megawatts of electric power to the governorates of Aden and Hadhramaut.
This support comes within the framework of the ongoing efforts made by the Kingdom to assist the Yemeni people and alleviate the living burdens on citizens in light of the challenges facing the country's electricity sector.
This initiative is considered part of a series of grants and development aid provided by the Kingdom to support the stability of basic services and ensure the continued operation of vital facilities that directly serve the population.
This support reaffirms the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's firm commitment to standing by Yemen and contributing to the improvement of economic and social conditions through sustainable development projects.
