Ministry of Health investigates incident of mistreatment of a citizen inside a pharmacy
The Saudi Ministry of Health has initiated investigation procedures into a video clip that recently circulated on social media platforms, showing a citizen being subjected to mistreatment by a pharmacist inside one of the ministry's pharmacies.
In an official statement, the ministry emphasized that it attaches great importance to all complaints submitted by beneficiaries, stressing its full commitment to providing the best health services to citizens and residents with respect and professionalism.
The ministry explained that it has referred the pharmacist responsible for the incident to investigation and legal accountability, in order to verify the details of the incident and take the necessary regulatory measures against him in accordance with the regulations in force in the health sector.
This step comes within the framework of the Ministry of Health's keenness to enhance the quality of services provided in its facilities and ensure decent treatment for all patients, while emphasizing that it will not tolerate any behavior that harms the values of health work in the Kingdom.
