Saudi Arabia announces the "Eye of Hijaz" entertainment project in Medina
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia recently unveiled ambitious plans to establish a new entertainment project named "Eye of Hijaz" in Medina. This project comes as part of the Kingdom's ongoing efforts to boost the tourism sector and provide world-class entertainment destinations for residents and visitors.
The estimated cost of this project reaches 511 million Saudi Riyals, equivalent to 135 million US dollars. This Ferris wheel is considered part of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which aims to diversify the national economy and develop tourism infrastructure across various regions of the Kingdom.
Relevant authorities have invited the private sector to participate in the implementation of this massive project, as the Kingdom seeks to strengthen public-private partnerships to develop entertainment facilities. It is expected that the "Eye of Hijaz" will contribute to attracting more tourists to Medina, thereby supporting economic growth in the region.
It is noteworthy that this project reflects the Kingdom's commitment to developing modern tourist landmarks that align with the historical and religious significance of Medina, while adding a contemporary touch that serves sustainable development goals in the entertainment sector.
