Saudi Arabia continues to support education in Yemen by establishing 13 new schools
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has announced the launch of a new educational project aimed at improving school infrastructure in the Republic of Yemen. This project is part of the ongoing efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to support the education sector and provide a suitable learning environment for students in various governorates.
The project includes the construction and rehabilitation of 13 schools distributed across the governorates of Lahj and Al-Dhale'e. This initiative aims to address the challenges facing educational institutions in affected areas and ensure the continuity of the educational process for children and youth, thereby contributing to building a better future for coming generations.
This step comes as a continuation of a series of development and humanitarian projects sponsored by the Kingdom in Yemen. These initiatives underscore Saudi Arabia's commitment to promoting stability in the region by focusing on vital sectors such as education, which is considered the fundamental pillar for community development and the advancement of individual capabilities.
In concluding these efforts, the center's field teams are striving to complete the construction and restoration work as quickly as possible to ensure the return of students to their classrooms. These projects are part of the Kingdom's enduring commitment to providing aid to our brothers in Yemen and alleviating their living and educational burdens.
