Saudi Arabia continues to support education in Yemen by establishing 13 new schools
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has announced the launch of a new educational project aimed at improving school infrastructure in Yemen. This project is part of the ongoing efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to support the Yemeni people across various essential sectors.
The project includes the construction and rehabilitation of 13 schools distributed across the governorates of Lahj and Al-Dhale. This initiative aims to provide a safe and suitable educational environment for students, helping to ensure the continuity of the educational process and overcome the challenges that schools in those areas have faced over the past years.
This step comes as a continuation of the humanitarian and developmental role played by the Kingdom in Yemen, as Saudi Arabia is keen to support the education sector as the fundamental pillar for building the future of coming generations. These schools have been designed according to standards that ensure the accommodation of large numbers of students and the provision of necessary facilities for them.
Thousands of students are expected to benefit from this educational project, which will contribute to reducing dropout rates in the targeted governorates. This initiative reaffirms the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's commitment to promoting stability and development in brotherly nations through sustainable projects with a tangible positive impact.
