"Hajj in Health" Campaign Enhances Medical Care for Pilgrims within Saudi Arabia
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has launched a new campaign titled "Hajj in Health" to provide distinguished medical support to pilgrims from within the Kingdom. This initiative aims to ensure the safety of the "Guests of God" and provide them with the best health services before the start of this year's Hajj rituals.
The campaign targets more than 160,000 pilgrims from various regions of Saudi Arabia. Through these efforts, health authorities seek to ensure the physical and health readiness of pilgrims, which helps reduce potential health risks while performing the pilgrimage in the holy sites.
The services provided in this campaign include primary care visits before heading to Makkah. It also includes conducting necessary clinical and laboratory examinations to detect any health issues, in addition to providing medical advice and essential vaccinations to prevent infectious diseases.
This step comes as part of a comprehensive plan to develop health services and facilitate the Hajj journey for citizens and residents.
